Tom has designed and developed IT systems that improve digitalization in freight transport by implementing the first Truck booking application that provides unique, industry-pioneering capabilities that facilitates cost-effective and secure transportation of goods/cargo. He has gained over 25 years of experience in international Logistics and Supply Chain management.
 
Leadership experience gained as Managing Director with the world’s leading logistics company – DHL Supply Chain UK, Nigeria and Ghana.

He has led presentations for the development and implementation of a ‘Truck Call Up system’ for all ports and delivered presentations to a Global audience as a winner of the 2017 prestigious United Nations World Summit Awards in the category of Smart Settlements & Urbanization.                                          
He is a Logistics consultant for Alpha Sights – a knowledge-based UK firm. Tom has received several awards in his career with DHL and these included CEO awards for Investment of Choice and Provider of Choice for the EMEA region.
 
Currently leading the design framework for a smart city that will digitalize freight transport in a cosmopolitan city where a truck and a city will be digitally connected.
A certified Scrum Master with experience in large Agile transformation programs and organizations just implementing Agile Scrum.
